This is a great trio arrangement of a vocal backing for the song "Say Something"...

That was excellent! Those guys can really play.

Thanx for sharing.
Always been a fan of trios. They can play really well. grin Thanks for sharing.
What a production! Thanks for that, Noel. How many artists today can capture attention of an audience like this trio? I'd say not very many.
Glad you all enjoyed it smile
Wow - just wow. This is beautiful - absolutely stunning! All talented in their own right, but what I loved was the clear chemistry they had on that stage. They make it look like nothing. True talent.

Thanks for sharing smile
I LOVE writing backing parts for cello. An amazing instrument with the tremendous capability to augment almost anything.

In college, I was learning cello. I was also playing basketball and kept breaking my ring finger. No more basketball, and no more cello. But that sound stayed with me.

Hi Matt.

I agree. It's an awesome instrument! Have a look at the below link, it's bound to give you ideas on how versatile the cello can be.

While the presentation is two vocalists, 3 guitars and a cello, the sound is enormous! From what I can tell, it's the cello, aided by vocals, that's largely responsible for this. (You'll see what I mean when you get to the 3:10 mark in the clip.)

Regards,
Noel
