Can biab be used/set, to allow the chords to run the rhythm section of a keyboard/ module, As opposed to playing chords on a controller/ keyboard ?.

If I'm understanding your request properly, it sounds like you need to set up "Preferences | Output Channel" to do this.
In the 2020 manual, there's a section called "Outputting MIDI to external device" which sounds like is what you need.

If you're trying to have the BIAB chords output and play the sounds from your keyboard, there are instructions to do that on a Yamaha Keyboard, your's should be similar.
