Can this be done from RealBand? Or what other ways con I compress a song for emailing?

Yes, it can be done in Realband.

The option to "Merge audio to compressed file" is found under the "Render" menu.

Both mp3 and wma are good compressed formats. PG Music use wma for their Realtracks. I also prefer wma over mp3.

Or merge to a stereo wave and compress it to MP3 in another program, like Audacity or whatever
