another forum member is having ASIO problems and i think would be better using proper ASIO drivers but i think is trying to use ASIO4ALL. does the unit have dedicated ASIO drivers?

Yes. Register the product on the Focusrite site then download the driver.

thanks Matt. It's not an interface i use but it think the forum member in question was trying to use ASIO4ALL. I've suggested he follows this thread if he has any further difficulties.
