I posted this issue on the RB forum and got confirmation from another user that this happens. i'm posting here to reach a wider audience of experts.

if i set ozone 9 elements for the final mix and close the window the sound is fine. but if i reopen the fx window for example to see the eq settings ozone suggested, ozone reverts to 'start again' settings.

from memory i think nectar does the same on vocal tracks. if i save the song the settings seem to stick as far as my ears ca hear but most of the time you have to get everything right before you reopen the fx window or you lose what you had set up. even after saving the interface appears at the start again screen. other plugins open normally with the settings i assigned.

anyone else see this happen? its a pain when you want to tweak another plugin.
Are you using the VST or DX version?
(Can you still install both? I don't have 9 ..)
This isn't the same problem I was having about using DLL's is it? See my post in the RealBand forum about SampleTank not saving settings.

Might help.

Jeff
What I notice (using the VST)
If I 'Minimize' Ozone, and bring it back up everything sticks.
If I 'Close' it (using the 'X') it doesn't.

If I use the DX version, I can also Close it with the 'X' and reopen and it sticks ..
again, not using version 9 so may be different.
vst version............will check Jeff thank you
just checked and the dlls are installed at their default locations and i only have the one version so not the problem Jeff had with sampletank. it must be the same as rharv's vst issue
Please don't call it rharv's VST issue (I get blamed for enough stuff around here already)
apologies - i meant the plugin behaviour noted by rharv in the post above........... smile
No way I'm taking the blame for that!
It was a joke Bob.
