To mark the album's reissue in 2006, the multitrack sets for two songs – "Help Me Somebody" and "A Secret Life" – were made available for download, as folders of MP3s. I grabbed them at the time. One has 20 tracks, one has 24 tracks. You can stack 'em up in a DAW and go nuts. God knows what BIAB can do with this stuff.

I can no longer find those sets anywhere online, but as best I can determine, the original Creative Commons license allows me to redistribute them:

MIDI and Performer files for her 1997 recording "Heavenscent", featuring data recorded live from the Circon circular controller, essentially a big pitch bend dial.

As a non MIDI person the files really are a curiosity rather than something I want BUT I DO want to hear the piece I can't even get a listen to Beauty In The Beast anywhere.

Sorry, I looked and looked but could not find the Wendy Carlos album online anywhere. FWIW, here's my version, which is of course very similar to the original. Not sure what the © situation is here but she DID give out the files to do this, saying, "Now go on and grab the version that best suits your needs."

Notice that a Circon passage is a single MIDI note. Everything is controlled via pitch bend and one other CC, the physical lever for which is visible in the photo on the left, with the rubber band as a spring. The synth melody you hear from my Mac in 2021 is controlled across time and space by Wendy's hand movements in 1997.
