I'm trying to play a Kontakt VST inside Power Tracks.
I can play it stand alone, but have been unable to play it in PT.
I also haven't been able to get a pre-recorded midi track to play it either.
(friends have loaded it in Cubase & Sonar & it worked)
I'm using PT11 build 4.
Does anyone know if it's possible & how to set it up to work? (if it is)

Have you found the Add VST at the bottom of the DXi list dropdown?

Is your Kontakt .dll listed there?

Have you stored your Kontakt .dll file in the same folder where PT is told to look for VSTs?

The only way I could get KeyRig to play was to place it at the TOP of the list in the DX window. Any other position and it would not work.

I need some help with Power Tracks. I Have an E-Mu 404 box. All I want to do is to plug in a mic and a guitar, maybe a bassline. I'd like to make some simple CD's to give my kids. I find it difficult to wade through all the new feature options, the midi, the (AHHHH!), One problem I have is that when I do record a track (using the red button with the lightening slashes) I can hear it, but not when I want to add a track over it. Can anyone direct me to a written page of instructions to someone like me who wants to do this. I don't think want midi. Does that mean I want WAV ? Please let me know Thanks Will in Oregon
