I would like to see a function added to future versions of PTPA which will allow key and meter changes for specific measures within a song.

Although PTPA allows key and meter changes for an entire song it does not have a function to make key and meter changes for specific measures without affecting the rest of the song. Using the "TRANSPOSE" function does work by moving the notes and using accidentals but with no indication in the music that the key has changed this gets very confusing

The Meter Map works fine for changing meters (4-4, 3-4) etc on a measure by measure basis. BUT, allowing key changes to be assigned to measures would indeed be a welcome addition.

See if this works for your needs;
Go to Chords window
Highlight the bar you want a key change at
Click 'Bars' button (in the Chords window)
Use the Key Change drop down to select a new key

Click OK

I see it change in notation view when I get to the changed bar, but not sure if you have other needs.. you may need to use a combination of Key Change and Transpose depending on your intent.
