"Sing, Sing, Sing" was written by Louis Prima in 1936. Benny Goodman's jazz band made it a huge hit.

Here is the Tachibana Secondary High School Band from Kyoto with their interpretation.... it's breathtaking!

That's outstanding! Benny Goodman was great. His Live at Carnegie Hall 1938 concert is spectacular, and was almost lost. His daughter found the masters and got them published. There are less expensive versions now than the one I bought, but whichever one you find will be worth the look.

If I remember correctly, the concert was recorded through a single, suspended mic.

Breathtaking is an understatement.

What an absolutely skillful presentation. Choreography, music, performance, and dynamics all put together in a show-stopping delivery of music and dance.

Very talented performers, and amazing dedication, (not to mention the one or two rehearsals that would have taken place).

These are school-age young people. Just imagine what their future holds.

Amazing.
Wow! High school band concerts aren't what they used to be!
