A BRILLIANT 2020 Korean song, one of the BEST choruses ever? (...maybe, maybe not) This is just my opinion smile

What fascinates me most about this song is its production. There is a great deal to be learnt from this video clip about how to use reverb, delay, instrumentation, the stereo field, stereo width, etc.

The song is outstanding. Everything about it shines. It reached number 1 in the Korean charts.

And here, by Saesong, is a female cover of the same song...
(hopefully at least one of the links will work)

As an aside...

I have just finished watching "Itaewon Class" on Netflix. It's a 16-part Korean revenge drama. I totally enjoyed it. This song was used throughout that show.
Yes, this is outstanding. Sensational up front vocals.

It deserved number 1. Incidentally, Korea is certainly producing some amazing talent.
Hi Trev.

Yes. Korean talent is probably top in the world these days when it comes to consistent ability.

The link below is to a 12 year hold South Korean lad called Park Jichan. He's playing an advanced rock-piano version of the above song.

Also...

If you get time, have a look at the clip below. This is a live performance by Gaho (the singer of "Start"). The control and finesse he exercises over his vocals is extraordinary. And watch how he works the microphone. When he goes for certain notes, he knows exactly how far away he has to be to maintain consistency in sound. He also knows whether he needs to move his vocals back from the mic or to one side.

He's 22 years old and his competence has reached levels that many more accomplished vocalists never achieve.

What an exquisite and polished performance. I had to listen twice.
Yes, perfect vocal and microphone technique. Another winner, Noel.
