1964 was a pretty special year. Of all the songs listed, I think there was only one or two I don't remember. Radio was a big thing in the 1960s. Perhaps because we did not have all the distractions of today, music had a very different importance.
Enjoyed this. Thanks for posting it. Like Billy, I was familiar with all the tunes although had forgotten about them over the years. The biggest surprise for me was how many times Bobby Vinton showed up on top of the charts in the pre-Beatles era.
