So here is another video from NYC in the 90s. This is me and my brother and my band with our drummer Denis Saulnier.

Denis went on to become head of product design and delivery for Harvard Business Publishing and then director of teaching and learning for Coursera. I want to get the band back together.

Go to 3:02 and tell me if it sounds like we need to pack up the van.

Is this what drums are supposed to sound like??? Floyd??

Fun stuff, David! Zoom shots during the guitar solo made me dizzy wink Still have the tele?
Definitely different.

Can't comment on much else, but you were having fun, no question.
There's a strong sense of Talking Heads rhythmically and vocally.
I enjoyed the wailing guitar parts - those synth pads are made for such things.
Another good vid. demonstrating the joys of unpretentious rock'n.

Thanks Ray.

Yes, unpretentious for sure.

Talking Heads???? Thanks man!!!!

I was within twenty feet of David Byrne one time in Central Park where he came out in the pouring rain and did some acoustics for us die-hards because his show got cancelled in light of a thunderstorm.

So he just stood on a tiny stage under an awning with an acoustic and no mic and did some old-school for us, like Psycho Killer. Just him and the wooden box.

It was beyond epic.
