Also available a Direct Input version, for more control over the sound (via external amps & effects).

Thanks. I'll give it a try. I really like using sfz/sf2 files.

That makes two of us, then grin

That same place has few more of those, btw, if you browse around a bit. Not a lot, but those they do have seem to be quite decent quality and not all that large...plus, you can't beat the price wink

What would be the best player for these?

The "sforzando" application/vst that comes with Band-in-a-Box (in recent releases) is designed to be just that for you. That was rather the whole point of this tip in he first place, see cool

Edit: it's interesting that as detailed as your list of gear is there, Rob, the actual version of your BBox is missing smirk

This is pretty great. I'm a huge fan of electric guitar VST's.

Here's a great resource I found:

Hmm.. at a glance it seems all of those are commercial, i.e. come with a price. Now, I may be misrembering (if that's a word) but I think promoting commercial stuff from other places in this forum is generally frowned upon here smirk

Hi,
For to use sfz sf2 and others format(GIG, SF2, FXP, NKI, EXB, WAV, AIFF files, plus own Native Format)
I would switch to Samplelord better than sforzando.

It's open instantly, have font size and colors choice, skin support can hide any part of the program, really stable.
And so much more really it's the best soundfont player i have found and i have tried a lot.

The only problem it's only 32 bits smirk
And i don't think the authors 'll make it 64 bits.

If you want to try the démo:

By the way thanks for the clean guitar sound wink

Nor for the Mac, so that's that.
