Got a student looking to work on this tune... i've got almost all the real tracks so it will sound good but its a bit weird how her version goes... basically would have to be a bar of 3 and bar of 5 sort of thing to make it just like theirs.

I'd LOVE if someone already had this and would be amazingly grateful for it!

I believe its simply a bar of 3/4 returning next bar back to 4/4.
If I remember that's how John Prine (the songwriter) recorded it.
Almost nobody plays it that way anymore.
They just do straight 4/4.
Most singers are oblivious to it.
