Hardware:
E6400
4GB Ram
SB X-FI Audio CCEO
Line6 Pod Studio UX2
Dual Nvidia 7900 GTX with SLI
Windows XP Pro SP2

The problem Im getting is in my event viewer logs at startup only I see "This format is not supported by VSC WAVE device. [This is illegal frequency]"
This seems to only happen twice each startup

Any clues to if this is an actual error or just come kind of programing glitch, because I do not notice any issues with VSC it works fine.

Thanks

If you click on Start | Control Panel | Sounds and Audio Devices | Audio, do you have the Roland VSC selected as the audio output device? It should normally just be the MIDI device. This is just a guess.. as I haven't heard of that error before.

Do you use Finale? If so, you might want to check this forum:

Hi Blake,

Thanks for the reply, I only have the VSC selected as my midi device , the UX2 is my primary sound card and in POD farm and every program I use, Like Reason, FL studio, Fruity Loops ETC the VSC is slected as the default midi

No I no longer use Finale, stopped using years before I made this new rig
