From time to time Metronome Pro crashes. This is the error message:



The first few times this occurred I solved the problem by reinstalling Metronome Pro.
Now I found a workaround. I save a copy of MetronomePro.mpro to replace the orginal file when the error occurs.
As far as I can see my version (2.0.1.3) of Metronome Pro is up to date.

Pretty sure that 2.0.1.3 is the latest version (I just looked at the program updates page).

I've only used it occasionally, and it's never crashed on me, so unfortunately I can't help you there.

Looks like you've found a working solution, however. I might would just create a little batch file that does the file substitution and then launches Metronome Pro.

This might help:

Right-click on MetronomPro.exe, select Properties. In the window that appears, click on the Compatibility tab, check the box marked "Run this program as an administrator", and click OK.

That stops most Access Violation errors, please let us know if it doesn't.
