It would be nice if future versions of BIAB incorporated tempo changes by ramping (over a certain number of bars), as opposed to just jumping a certain number of bpm at a certain bar.
I hope I explained my idea clearly. My DAW, Cubase, does it, so it can be done.
Apologies if the new guy is saying something that has been said over and over all ready.

Firstly, welcome to the neighborhood.

Secondly, I understand and like your idea.

Yes, this is an old request, but it hasn’t been mentioned here in awhile.

And welcome. It’s really helpful when people who are new to the program give their first reactions.

Yes please.

We could likely add something that allow changing from tempo N1 to N2 over N3 bars,
That would still apply the tempo changes at bar boundaries though, as we don’t have tempo changes other than bar boundaries.

I could be wrong, but to implement this request in BIAB for a continuously changing tempo (not just at the bar lines), BIAB would need to support non-integer tempos. So, perhaps a corollary request is for non-integer tempos, as a prerequisite for a continuously varying tempo.

EDIT: I just read Dr. Gannon's comment in another thread: "Yes, floating point tempos are needed for biab and planned." Cool.
