I would like a buttom to octavise e.g. sightreading practice files in
guitarnotation, as its always too low for guitar reading, and there is a need to learn the higher notes too.
Thanks

if you click on the Melody menu, then down to the last option, then to utilies, then look at transpose melody up an octvie and transpost melody down an octive. you will see the short cut key. (I am not at home or I would just look them up for you).

I think that
<CTRL><ALT><1> transposes Melody down and octive.

so my guess would be
<CTRL><ALT><0> or CTRL><ALT><2> transposes Melody up an octive

And if you want to transpose the notation without changing your melody pitches, there's an elaborate Transpose section in the Options of the Notation screen. People who play saxes and other transposing instruments need this. You can transpose any amount up or down. Notation changes, but melody stays the same.
