With more new RealDrums coming all the time, finding the beat you need can be very time consuming.
I know the Drum Picker window is full, but maybe have another button, yes another button, that will open another dialog, yes that too, with a 1 bar maybe pattern grid you can fill in the hits you need, BB will then search it's beats database (short midi files created from the original RealDrums patterns/charts you have in the office there), showing only comparable RealDrums in the list (Filter by User Beat).
You can even let it loop that midi drum beat while playing your song to see how it fits, if not select the next while it's still playing.
How you have Preview (Solo) (Band) you can have (Song) also, so it plays your current song from Bar No. ? or loops to No. ? and mutes any drum tracks.

Maybe when you guys get them real multi channel drums you were talking about sorted out you can have a mixer.

Very useful.

I like the idea of programming in a small pattern and the program searching through RealDrums midi charts to find a similar pattern.

Why limit the search to RealDrums? How about checkboxes to select RealDrums, midi drums or all the above.
