We need PG Music Sample Library - 03/03/18 06:09 PM
I think it's time that PG music include a sample libray in Band in a Box. Woth all the time PG Music has recording the musicians for the Real Tracks, they could also have the musicians record samples . Here are my reason for having a PG Music sample libray:
1. The best sounding libray- Because PG Music only records musician of the highest caliber for the RTs, you would have the best sounded instruments. You would also have the best articulations, techniques, and minute details that make the instrument come to life.
2. The felixablity of samples- With the RTs, all you get are pre recorded parts that can adapt to the tempo and key signature and unless you want input a bunch a .wav files and slice and dice them untill you get a part you like, there is not much editing you can do with them. However, if with a sample libray you have control over the whole thing. You choose what notes to play, how long they played, how the play, the tempo etc. Samples allow film composers, orchestras, band leaders and artist to write out the parts that want for verbatim.
VST- We've talk about want BIAB to be a plugin for most DAWs and this is it. Why not have PG Music and Native Instrument collaborate to make a sample librarty that can integrated into Kontak 5.
BIAB MIDI Edition- For those who want BIAB only for MIDI I think they sould get the sample library included with a special bundle that comes on a hard drive without the need to install any of it.
So those are my though and the idea. How will be possible, I don't know. How much would it cost? I think $300 including the hard drive sounds fai.
