How about adding something like ...

"If you have a question on any of the PGMusic products, please detail it in the appropriate (Windows/Mac) Forum to the left of this box."

Yes, it's often not used for its intended purpose. Also, some users may have the right column turned off (My Stuff > Edit preferences)
