Posted this in other section of the forum, but almost did not get any traction. Will post here. Hopefully, somebody from developers looks at this with open mind. My main request is to have an independent MIDI bus channel that would allow to attach VST such as Halion or Kontakt without BIAB "stealing" tracks from it. So that VST can be used as an independent mixer and that "MIDI BUS" channel on BIAB mixer would just control master volume of VST. Right now it is somewhat possible, but very clumsy. As of now, BIAB would render VST channels as audio, even if they are not on the BIAB mixer. What I am asking for should not be hard to implement. Please consider.

That is a very old request to get the full channel capacity in the mixer.

The answser would be : use RealBand, it is done for that...

Main request is to open VST channels to the full capacity, through a single, independent "Midi BUS" channel, not as much as BIAB mixer.

Does this wish refer to the second tracks window in the VST Plugin?

Matt, the key of request is independent midi "bus" channel(one) on BIAB mixer, that would allow for any number of VST midi channels / layers to be played and controlled (by VsT mixer) that would not interfere with other tracks on BIAB mixer...
