It's a good idea but particularly for new users and musical novices, PG Music implemented the Song to Text feature that allows users regardless of their musical theory or knowledge to get chord progressions perhaps from online sites, copy and paste them into Notepad or any other text editor, open BIAB and after selecting all of the chords from Notepad, paste them into the BIAB song. That feature seems similar to what you're suggesting above.

I just tried BIAB's Song to Text Feature and it's easy to understand and to quickly input chords into a song project.

Yes RapidComposer works well with Biab, Biab needs to be able to Interpret Midi Chords with the same function in the File > Import > Import Chords from MIDI file.. this will need to be added to Biab:
