Can you make stylepicker, realtracks to track pages into more modern drop-down menus? The pull-down menu is more convenient to find and record, and it is also more in line with the design idea of modern software.
If there is a drop-down menu, the interface of band in a box and BB VST will feel new.
I now spend a lot of time looking.
Or just make realtracks to track as a drop-down menu

In this way, you can quickly find the reaktracks you need according to the classification

swingbabymix,
interesting idea.

It seems you are proposing something inline with arrangers. Where hardware mounted screen is limited and you need to get where you need to get fast, not so convenient for casual browsing. What you show does make sense, however, have you seen how Halion (or Halion Sonic) deals with content picker? See attached. It is much more involved than basic 20+ dropdown choices, I find it interesting how they handled it. Not very obvious from picture, but there is a search field also, and ability to "rate" instruments for easy "favorites" access.
There are a lot of things to keep in mind in BIAB, especially a "type" and content.
RT, RD, MIDI, SUPER MIDI, LOOPS, USER TRACKS. Genres, tempos, feel and much, much more.

Bottom line, I agree that picker has to be re-imagined, but I think fuller picture is needed.
I proposed this some time ago:

It would definitely make more interesting to have something similar to what you proposed, but before that, ALL creative content has to get consolidated into some kind of tabbed or similar picker...

So +1 for categorized view option

You wrote my ideas, you wrote more perfect than me.
I totally agree with you

I can see a benefit from this approach, especially if the presentation was optional.

Now I need to memorize a lot of realtracks every day. If I don't record them separately in my notepad, I won't find them next time. There are many classic realtracks that can be reused in different songs.
I hope the official will improve

Not Quite. You just need to learn the intricacies of the BIAB StylePicker. There are multiple ways to either categorize or compile lists of Styles and RealTracks that are customized to your personal preferences or necessity to group styles or RealTracks to your own idea of genre or by song or any such classification you desire. The StylePicker will compile a list of styles you mark as favorites and those can be stored into User Categories with memos you create. A list can be compiled from recently opened Styles. Lists can be compiled and stored by specific instruments. Pretty much any way you can imagine a list that you want to remember and retrieve can already be done in the StyleMaker.

These lists can be retrieved and will be the only list shown in the StylePicker just as a filtered search works now.

The StylePicker styles can be filtered into hundreds of different components, you just have to do the work of filtering so there's a list comprised of whatever items you want retain and retrieve.

I hope there are instrument categories in realtracks, or there are some tick options like style picker

There are several ways to develop options that categorize instruments. I described one in the post using artist Dwight Sills who plays guitar. His guitar is used in 91 different styles and several different genres. He also plays both even styles and swing styles.
