I'd like to see Pan being added to the "Bar Settings" interface, along of course with the possibility of adjusting the pan of a track midways into a song in the first place.
Yes, panning could be useful part way through a song to enhance a stereo effect, or when trading instruments, etc.

One way to accomplish this might be to have support for a MIDI Control Surface using the Mackie protocol. Then we could save automation curves for panning as well as volume.
I presume the control interface would only work for MIDI tracks?
Good question. I would assume it could work on any track. Whatever mechanism PG Music has programmed for the built-in mixer works the same way for mouse control of panning and volume on any track, MIDI or otherwise. That's the way mine works in my DAW.
And all tracks are equal ...
