When a user selects the audio record button the Record Audio and Input/Output VU meter windows open.

The Record Audio window has an option for a user to select punch-in recording. Part of the punch-in recording process requires the user to describe the chorus, bar, beat and tick that the audio will be placed.

Unfortunately the chorus, bar, beat and tick text boxes are not labeled so beginners have no way of knowing what information to place in each box.

+++ THIS +++ thread provides a good example why of why the text boxes should be labeled.

Description: Record Audio window with request for Chorus, Bar, Beat & Tick boxes to be labeled.

Definitely improved labeling would be beneficial.

AudioTrack, Thanks for your support of this idea.

Dr. Gannon, Thanks for reviewing the thread. I REALLY hope to see labels added to the Record Audio window. The labels will make life easier for all users that access this window.

Labels would be ok but another option would be to connect the punch-in with a highlighted punch-in selection in the Audio Edit Window. That would realistically replicate a punch-in operation and accurately fill the text boxes.
