I discovered the WASAPI driver in Windows 10 when I was playing around with Reaper. It works excellent. Have using usb mic's into a Dell laptop. Storage space was a problem but solved with a usb drive array. Had to purchase a usb hub as the usb ports get used up fast. With backup drives, mikes, additional usb sound cards.
