Since so many of you post and listen there, is it "not-uncommon" for soundcloud to fail to deliver sound?

I've tried other streaming sites, and they are working, but with soundcloud, the player scrolls, but I hear nothing.

Not sure if this is what you are experiencing, but here is something I've noticed on soundcloud.

They have a pretty aggressive copyright filter, sometimes if a song is flagged for potential copyright infringement, the audio will be stripped out of the file.

This also used to happen in YouTube

Mikke is probably right but be sure to look at the volume control on the bottom right to make sure that it is either at zero or muted.

That did it, Mario. How did that get muted? I feel so...so...stupid. :-)

Don't feel stupid. I've done stupider things myself. Sometimes things that always have worked and when they don't we have a tendency to over look the obvious. At least I do!
