Hi, does anyone know how to get shy of that chat thing (they cartoon chat symbol). With the changes made last week this has grown to twice its size and almost blocks out the “top” button. It’s a nuisance in my opinion. Yes I understand sales it is what it’s all about but to have a big button on the bottom as well as an option on the top seems overkill.

I don't know about an iPad, but it's pretty large on the iPhone, too. I assume you mean that light blue bubble icon that could have text like what a cartoon character might say.

Even now, on my PC, it is almost an inch square. I could do with it smaller.

Yes, it's now way too big:

I think that it is way to large on my desktop monitor.

Maybe it can be made so it can be closed via a minus sign.
