I made the mistake of updating to version 5 and I don't like it nearly as well as v4. Is there any way to roll back to v4?
The home site offers a link to v4 but when I ran it, it reverts back to a v5 install. Frustrated!
The GUI has changed and now I'm lost. I didn't like Windows
Media Player ( Which MediaMonkey replaces ). What is everyone using for an MP3 player/MOV player?
I personally use VLC Media Player.
Free, 64bit and open source.
It's not like MediaMonkey, which is a full fledged program for cataloging your collection.
It's just a player which plays just about any format.

I use VLC for mostly video but still use MM4 Donny.
I found a place on their site where you can still download it:
Media Monkey 4This will take you right to a download prompt.
I didn't care for v5 either. But I kept v4 installed, so both are on my machine.
If you've got the latest v4 installer, maybe uninstall v5, then install v4. Just a thought.
V5 doesn't overwrite v4, so maybe it's still on your computer and you just need to look for the shortcut.
Steve,
That seems to be an endless loop and doesn't get me to a download.
John, what file name should I look for? MM4 didn't find anything!

If you're having an issue with that, you may have a pop-up blocker that is not allowing you to download .EXE files. Here's the link for the page before that as well as a picture of where to click it...... EDIT: Please note, only click where it says MediaMonkey 4. That text to the right of it takes you to another page.

Steve,
That solved it, thanks!
Don, glad you got it sorted.
I use Media Monkey to tag my mp3 file collection (I'm working through recording and digitizing my extensive record album collection) and the grid display of the library made it a breeze. V5 was just a mess. So I may end up using v5 as a player, but keep v4 as a tagged.
