When printing a lead sheet with note based lyrics, the lyric at the end of one line often re-appears at the start of the next line, in the margin. This doesn't show in the preview, but does show in both hardcopy prints and PDFs. Does anyone know the solution please?
Firstly, welcome to the forums.

I haven't heard of this. Can you share the BiaB version and build number (Help > About), and also which PDF and paper printer are you using?
Hello JT-W! Welcome to the forums.

Our Band-in-a-Box Windows and Band-in-a-Box Mac subforums are the best place to get Band-in-a-Box specific help as people look in these areas to assist other users.

That said, can you post a screenshot of the print settings you have for us when you go to print your lead sheets, and can you also let us know if fakesheet mode is enabled at all or not?
BIAB does, and has ever since note lyrics was introduced, had a real problem printing "long" lyrical phrases.

It does not seem to recognize when there are too many lyric elements to fit in a bar so overflow or stacking often occurs.

My work around is to either reduce the number of bars on a line or make one large element out of two or more smaller elements. So 3 syllables such as 'in' 'the' 'night' becomes one syllable, 'in the night' attached to the first note. Some times it works, other times not.

The introduction of bar based lyrics helped some of those who were still on line based lyrics but needed more control, but it has caused some problems since it seems to want to centre everything.

You can change the lyric size, bars per line and even lines per page, but it is really only a work around and the problem is still there.
