I know I've seen it....can't locate it. How do I change octave for a RealTracks instrument? In BIAB 2017.
Thanks.
I'm pretty sure you can't adjust octaves for RealTracks, only MIDI. RealTracks are pre-recorded and they aren't recorded in all octaves.
I believe John is correct. I'm not at a computer but if you want to try, one place is Preferences, Channels. Adjust the number in the second column (octave, I think it says) up by one for the instrument you want.
You can make a backup of the realtrack folder first
then drag each wav/wma into realband
right click Time Stretch or Pitch Shift...
Up or Down 12 semitones
then drag each track out via DROP to replace original.
I did it once on an acoustic and it sounded like a mandolin.
Thanks, guys. I know I'm not crazy now. I did see the midi channel change. Thanks, PL, I'll give that a try!
