Hi, I'm new to BIAB (not new to music), and this software is so useful in songwriting and recording, but I'm wondering what is the protocol for using the Artist performance tracks as a base to write a song over?
The reason I ask is that as a quick start, I loaded up one of the Brent Mason Country Master performance tunes and edited it to my own taste (chord progression left as is obviously), but his guitar playing fits so well I wanted to keep it in my track... is this the done thing or a no no.
Just didn't want to start off on the forum on the wrong foot is all.
