Hello there, newbie here, I wish to change the tempo for the whole song, so I can learn solos but it only changes for one bar. I am a MAc user with BiaB 2018.

Welcome to Band-in-a-Box and the forum. The tempo box, edged in red in the screenshot below, is where you set tempo for the whole song.
