Does anyone know if it's possible to turn down a level of Distortion or Overdrive on a real track guitar without changing all the original amp setting for that particular style and amp set up.

I would like to keep all the amp and amp setting but just turn down the level of overdrive.

When I go to direct input it takes off all the amp settings. So I have no idea how it was set up?

Jim, if the distortion/overdrive is recorded in the RT it can not be changed.

If you are talking about the RTs that use Amplitube then open Amplitube, click on effects and lower the distortion/overdrive levels.
