Hi All,
I am a BIAB neophyte here, but I have what I think should be a trivial question.
I have a simple waltz written back in the 1920’s when it was popular to write an opening “verse” lead in to the chorus of a song. The verse is 24 bars long (3/4) at around 130 tempo. What I want is NO CODA anywhere in this file, and I would like bar 23 to retard and bar 24 to be an extended whole note. Straight through. No repeats. Assigning bar 24 as the “end” should get me my whole note tag, but I cannot for the life of me get rid of those pesky repeats which precede the end! I think I can get away with a one bar tempo change on bar 23 if need be to accomplish the retard, but more importantly...How do I kill the Coda? Any of you pros out there have any ideas?
Cheers,
Mark
Set the number of choruses to 1, as shown.
Select bar 23 and press function key <F5> to change the tempo.
Note that tempo changes are applied on a bar-by-bar basis, so not actually a pure rallentando.

Many Thanks! That did the trick for me. I think that number of choruses was the main thing killing me. I appreciate your help!
