Every time I load a song, it does not have the key and cappo that I saved it with. Is this normal, or have I changed a setting somewhere?

Have you set the key signature of the song correctly?

There is a transpose option in the print options menu that will show the "capo'd" version of the song without altering the play key, but I think it is a global setting

Welcome to the forum. Could you give us more detail, please? Windows or Mac? Which version and build (go to Help, About). I ask because we want to rule out a possible bug.

When you do File, Save you can specify to Save with Patches and Harmony. Try that.

I have only been using it for a week.

I have done all the above, setting key sig. setting cappo.

BIAB 2021, 818, 64 bit.

I have 4 numbers lined up for a zoom meeting, as I closed each then opened each one, I had to reset the cappo position & in 2 cases set the key as well.
As you gather, this takes time, while people are sitting there waiting for me to start playing.
I tried saving as mp3, but not being able to see the screen with chord changes, makes it difficult.
