I'm having loads of problems...

Is there any videos on transposing with cappo?

I start with new file
It shows 'C' as the first chord, and it sounds like C

I then use the transpose button (next to the key under title, it shows C+2, the first cord in chord window shows D, which is what I'd expect, but it sounds nothing like D, its probably still C.

I change the C to D, first chord shows D, it sounds like D.

I change it to D-2 or D+2, first chord changes, but it still sounds like D

Is all this as expected?
I don't see what - & + are doing, they don't change the sound.

I want to be able to play in say D & display the chords in C.

I think it is working as designed. The transpose changes the printed key, not the play key. So if you have a tune to be played in D, you can transpose it to C, put your capo on the second fret and play away to the original music.

As I mentioned before, I think this is a global setting. Once you set it as -2 (to go to C from D), all songs you input / play will be shown as capo 2. Probably designed for non-concert pitch instruments such as sax.

Actually changing the key is easily done by changing the play key in the box that has "Feel, Time Sig, and Key". This will change the print and play key.

Confusing? Yes, but not really designed for Guitar players.. I just print mine out in the key I want to play in.
