Can someone let me know how I can get a held chord to ring out past the end of a bar into the next bar? I have a held chord that I want to ring out into the next bar (and the next bar has new music, the start of the next verse).

I hope that makes sense! Is there a way to do this? thanks in advance.

Essentially, I'm understanding that you want to overlap the held chord while new music starts on the following bar?

One way to do this would be to record the song with the held chord and no music following (no next verse) and save to an audio track, then add the section containing the next verese. The audio track should play along with the other tracks.

You may need to experiment a little. Others may know more and have better suggestions.

Yeah that's exactly what I want to do, I thought there may be an easier way to do it, but that would work, appreciate the suggestion. I am tinkering with stretching the tracks in reaper, but thought there may be a way to do it in BIAB itself. Cheers.
