When creating an arrangement with RealBand..
When to Regenerate?
1 - If you change tempo?
2 - If you change the chords?
3 - If you change Part Markers?
4 - After you change the song length?
5 - Or when?

I find myself doing it after every change... is that the way to do it?

Also, does Regenerating change the tune? It seemed to earlier today when I was experimenting with an arrangement and changed the tune length by adding a bar.

Thanks for any help.

You can generate as often as you like, especially after changing anything within the song (chords, tempo, part markers). Remember that you can generate as much or as little as you want with RealBand. There are no hard-and-fast rules. It's really down to personal choice.

If there's something on one track you think could be improved, only generate that track. Or only generate part of that track. RealBand has much improved features for re-generation than BiaB.
I think of re-generating as a "follow this setting" button. If a setting is adjusted, I don't expect to hear the change until that track is re-generated. If you want to stop and listen to the change right afterwards, then re-generate. If not you can do a bunch of adjustments one after another, such as all four of your examples in the original post, then re-generate when you're finished.
