yes it works. I had another problem. restarting the computer helped.

Hi Hulkko, glad to hear this is working for you! Another way to bring in a MIDI file is to drag/drop it into the main Band-in-a-Box window. This can be useful for it your MIDI file has multiple instrument that you would like to be separated to different tracks in the Mixer.
