I am wondering if I messed something up...
When I open BB it now says:

Plogue Art et Technologie, Inc Sforzando
Cannot find install directory

Could not load Hi-Q patch... Sforzando not installed....

How do I fix this?

I don't know how/where BiaB knows the link.
If it was OK but now is not, maybe try:

Options->Return To Factory Settings->...MOST...
or possibly:
Options->Return To Factory Settings->...ALL...

For the Hi-Q instruments, they have their own installer and you can try re-running it. You can check the directory Gordon mentioned or you can re-download it.


For Plogue, that gets installed when a specific checkbox is selected in the main Band-in-a-Box and RealBand program installer.

The reset using MOST seems to have done the trick.
I also did the reinstall for Sforzando
Much obliged.

Hmmm... opened BIAB again today and it's happening again where is says it's missing files.

Any other ideas besides the two suggestions above?

Could you provide a little more information? What are the names of the files that it advises are missing?
Do you have an external drive that contains any part of the BiaB program suite?
