Hi All,

Long time since I had a new song.

I have one now

I used my HAPREL style which you can get (just search for it on the forum)

It is called Goodbye to Yesterday. Find it here: Goodbye to Yesterday

Everyone will have had that thought at sometime in their lives.

Here are the Lyrics

Goodbye to yesterday
At last you've gone away
Goodbye to all the times
You let me down

You were so very hard
You left me scarred
Watching in silence
Never making a sound

You never once complained
You never said a thing
Left me to my fears
Throughout all those years...

Well it's goodbye to yesterday
Tomorrows a brand new day
Watching the world now
Through new open eyes

I can see what I did wrong
But it's time to move along
Live life give life a chance

Instrumental

You were so very hard
You left me scarred
Watching in silence
Never making a sound

You never once complained
You never said a thing
Left me to my fears
Throughout all those years...

Well it's goodbye to yesterday
Tomorrows a brand new day
Watching the world now
Through new open eyes

I can see what I did wrong
But it's time to move along
Live life give life a chance
Live life give life a chance

Let me have it guys and gals

Best regards
Michee

Yes, back to the early sixties with this outstanding song.

Great work here with perfect backing tracks to an outstanding vocal. Super lyrics also.

Two thumbs up.

Hi Josie & MarioD,

Thanks for taking a listen.

I'm sure everyone at some point in their life has had the thought "I'll be glad when today's over"
So I wrote about moving on and looking forward ( but not in so may words )

Best regards
George

George,

Really enjoyed it! Went through 3 or 4 times playing along with my guitar. (Love that progression to play against)

Anyway, It's pretty much all been said. Great Job!

George,

Great song! I thought I posted a couple days on this song, but I guess it didn't "take". Sometimes, I write a post, preview, and then forget to click to complete the post.

Anyway, this is a very catchy tune. I find it rolling around in my head after listening to it. (I know, there's plenty of room for it to roll around up there!) That's a good sign. And like Brian, I can hear a little Ringo there too.

Keep up the good work!

Steve

George,

You can see where this one's going, but that's no bad thing.

This is much enhanced by the rhythm pattern which works really well.

GIve life a chance indeed!

(Wouldn't have ended on that maj7 though!)

Hi Marc,

Thanks for taking a listen.

The style inserts that ending every time I tried it.

I suppose it makes you sit up and listen

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
