Jazzed Up is based on BiaB’s Jazz Fours Style. The style parts were slightly modified. The bass was reworked during its lead parts. The drum and the E-Piano solo were generated by BiaB and kept as is. I played the guitar part and wind controller parts, sax and trumpet.

I hope you like it for what it is.

Nice cool progression Mario. It works. Everytime I hear a jazz track it inspires me to do a jazz tune for my next track. But then country steps in and knocks it out once again! One of these days soon, jazz is gonna win out, I just know it!

Great stuff here!

Very nice, Mario! This kind of reminds me of one of those police/detective movies from the 70's or 80's, maybe a chase or running scene. Very cool. I think you have gotten a handle on that wind controller now! It all sounds good. Keep it up!

Nice jazz guitar. Those wind controlled instruments are very cool. I enjoyed the arrangement with the drum and bass solos. Good job. Tom

Hey Mario,

Oh my goodness! This is a real testament to your musical versatility. Very "Jazzed Up" indeed! You've definitely become a master of the wind controller now. You've sure raised the bar a few notches with this one :0

Loved it.

All the best,
Noel

I think I've lost you to that great jazz club in the movie, StarWars...

Thanx Noel, Gdaddy and Tommyc for listening and the very kind comments.

Noel – no not a master yet but I’m trying.

Gdaddy – my wife also thinks I belong in that Star Wars club!!!!!!

Tommyc – It’s never too late to start! I’m 65 and I’ve had the EWI-USB wind controller for only a couple of years now. If I can do it so can you!

PS – sorry for the late response as I’ve been landscaping, getting my music computer up and running again after a crash and on vacation/holiday for a week.

Mario,

Nice one! Sounds like you had fun putting this together, but then how can you help but have fun when your swinging at that tempo.

Good Stuff, I enjoyed it.

Yo Mario!

Ya did good, I get a little West Side Story out of it, in fact I think I may start a rumble tonight! That wind controller is really coming along and of course your guitar chops are always right up there my friend, I have always loved your tone.

Best To Ya,

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
