I guess i won't have to worry about leaving this world in that manner.

Maybe some of the resignations are trying to avoid giving testimony later on? A whole different ballgame when your freedom will be at stake.

Does the PM have the "Executive Privilege" card like we do here? It was one thing when the celebs were crying foul over their phones being hacked, but seeing Scotland Yard selling their locations is something different. Someone in Scotland Yard would "ping" their cell tower location after receiving a fee of something like 300 or 400 pounds. I read it took a supervisors approval to do the "ping," and those were supposed to be done only during a police investigation. In the US, you are "supposed" to get a warrant signed by a magistrate before you "ping" a cell tower to find a cell phone location.

The PM was warned about David Coulson's participation in past hacks and still hired him knowing what he had done. Now that it is in the public arena, the PM blamed it on "bad judgement."

The Royal Family were victims as well as the previous PM Gordon Brown.

This scandal has everyone involved. The FBI are now investigating here on the 911 victims phones being hacked in the US. There is no telling how far this will go now.

The only thing I find surprising, is that ANY of us find this SURPRISING!

The simple facts are that ALL of our governments and politicians are crooked, (pronounced crook-ED), the media is crooked, the police are crooked, and folks are wondering HOW this happened!

Maybe it could be that we’ve been fooled by those we thought we could trust. I’m not surprised, and I hope you guys aren’t either.

I wish I could say this is a wake up call, ……, but it isn’t. Crooked cops, politicians and media aren’t a new thing.

The trouble is, ……, its getting old.

Piers Morgan, who took over for Larry King on CNN, may be called to testify. They say he was "run out" of the UK when he was editor of The Daily Mirror tabloid paper. He supposedly doctored some photo's of UK soldiers in the prison abuse scandal, making it appear they were also involved. And CNN hired him? Wow . . .

He wrote in his book the ABC's of obtaining password pin code and messages on other people's cell phones.

This just got interesting, lol. I was wondering why he has been mum on the scandal.

That surprises you, really? I'm shocked, shocked!! All the anti war vitriol that was and still is flying around, those people think they they're invincible, doing the peoples work exposing those evil military war mongers and all that. Did you see Piers Morgan's interview with Sarah Palin? Disgraceful. I'm no big fan of hers, I don't think she's presidential material at all but what he did with her was outrageous. He and lots of others at CNN, CBS and NBC especially go after the right by either simply making stuff up as in 'don't let the facts get in the way of a good story' or accept doctored documents because they fit their narrow minded preconceived notions of what they want to present to the rest of us without doing any due diligence at all. Dan Rather anyone? He's sure a big mover and shaker now on HDNet isn't he? They're supposed to be keepers of the flame, just report the facts, be objective, give both sides of any political argument a fair shake. Right. During Watergate Woodward and Bernstein had to get two confirmed sources in order to run a story but not now. There's documented cases of liberal so called journalists getting their "facts" from some wackjob left wing blog with no sourcing at all. Like I said it's liable to get ugly for all of them, it will be very interesting to see where this goes.

Even if I were qualified, I would not dream of going to another country and sticking my nose into their political affairs. To do so takes the utmost nerve in my humble opinion.

OK, I'll buy that for now . . . that is until an accordion player chokes on his instrument, or worse yet, accidentally sits on it with obvious great force!

Now that would give a new definition to "squeeze box"!

Poor Furry, you are denigrating him. Mine has 120 buttons on one hand. My piano only has 88 keys. When you add it all up it takes...talent. Way harder than plunking wires on a board.

Aww shucks John, … no one’s denigrating Furry! There are individuals much more worthy of denigration than furry! ( Hey, … wait, … I resemble that remark!)

But the mental image of an accordion crammed into the “nether regions” begs for the “squeeze box” comment.

That mental image is much less appealing than the one created by the old “Squeeze Box” song.

And the last I heard, “plunking wires on a board” in all it’s stringed variations was considered an art form!

I've got to get a new pic of me with my tongue in my cheek.

I'll pull out the black turtle neck, some poetry book, and a beret. My son has left a couple of black ones here from his military days. My daughter can photo the beatnick, though I can't grow chin whiskers, the radiation cleaned them right off. Well there are 3 or 4.

The doc at the Cancer clinic (this was the pain guy) gave me a script for the chemist. Synthetic THC. I'll let you know how my music will be when I'm taking wacky tabbacy in a pill. Strange.

As to media, the Canadian media is very left wing. But I can't watch Fox news because ANY thing about Canada is prefaced with the word stoopid. You may not be aware but I love my country. Call me ethnocentric, that would be a compliment.

I think I could live lots of places but 99F temperatures don't come often in Scotland. LOL. Sorry Furry, I should have stopped but it was 9 p.m. and I had to catch a plane.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
