Rejean,

This one sounds great. Nice vocals, and well balanced use of RealTracks.

Has a nice Rock sound, you've mixed the vocals well.

Have Fun!

Rejean,

Agreed! This one sounds great! You have a great voice for this one. To me there is just a tad too much reverb on your vocal, though. Still sounds good, and others may disagree with me.

Keep up the good work.

Very nice tune and performance ! I think I'd agree with a bit too much verb on the vocal... and I'm a reverb monger myself.

Hey Rejean,

You've got a nice Phil Collins vibe going here. The reverb really didn't bother me that much - a little less wouldn't hurt - keep it in mind for next time but I wouldn't sweat it too much on this retro feel song. I like your big vox sound and thought you did a good job on the rhythm backing tracks too. Maybe a little harmony backup would be nice in spots.

Very heartfelt performance. Like your passion.

the reverb worked for me, RJ...

up until the sax I was thinking "RaspBerries", but after that I was thinking "Springsteen."

thanks for your comments.

I've just been listening to your song (Spread your wings). It's great.
It's country and blues. It reminds me Janis Joplin style. Very nice.
Also your video is realy nice.

Thks again

I just had a listen. The song has a nice "live" feel to it. I agree, there's a bit too much reverb on the vocals, but it's not a deal breaker. It's a good, straight forward rock song.

Nicely done.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Nice track Réjean, your voice really matches this kind of rock number. Yes, too much reverb - the voice sounds in a different place than the band - and the fade out needs fixing, but aside from that I really enjoyed this song. Well done!

I really like this one!

I also agree that there is to much reverb on the vocals.

Regardless, two thumbs up!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
