Just got this tip from my father in law. Works amazingly. Take a instrument stereo wave file from band in a box. Example; guitar, select the whole wave file and then delete the right side of the file. Save it as guitar left. Next load the stereo guitar file again but this time delete the left side. Save it as guitar right. Now enter into Daw and listen to the amazing clarity you get between the 2 channels. The reason is you get no run over from one side to the other as you would if you only pan a single stereo track. I hope this helps let me know how it works for you.
