http://soundcloud.com/tommy_cole/for-lisaLisa sent me money through my Church to help buy my Granddaughter a new Laptop! Never meet her, but she saw a post that I made on reddit.com in the Christianity subreddit. What a COOL Person! My left arm and hand have been hurting with Carpal Tunnel lately so it was a real chore(so it may not be up to par), but I felt so good that she helped me I just had to play some guitar! Prayers really do come true! Thank You Lisa!

Tommy,
Pretty amazing stuff... considering the circumstances.
Your guitar work on your worst day is still head and shoulders above most of us on our best day.
Keep on keeping on!

Hi Tommy, which instruments are you playing and which ones are BIAB? sounds like maybe the organ, drums and bass are BIAB/RB and the screaming elec is you?
this is nicely done, I'd like to hear it go somewhere, tho, it's a lot of the same sound throughout. you've got great chops and killer sound, but keep the listener interested by doing some different stuff.
just MO.

Tommy - I sincerely hope I didn't upset you! you have some great guitar chops! I just thought I needed to comment on what I think would improve your songs. I will certainly refrain from commenting things like that if I've offended you.

I'm just doing this for fun, when I started having mini strokes in 2000 it took me a year and a half to just walk to the mailbox. I use to play professionally but I forgot most of what I learned afterward. Now days I'm more interested in making a great podcast of the weekly sermon for my Church. I still love to play, but I'm not really looking to do anything with it, other than the occasional tracks I sell to a couple of sax players. Music is only a hobby to me now! To me this forum is all about having fun and helping others to use this incredible software. So no offense taken Beagle!

I have many more problems, A-Fib, HepC, Liver Cirrhosis, Spondylosis in my Back and COPD. My health has really gone down hill, was a wild child till I was 48. Now paying the price for having too much fun.

Great chops man! Loved it!
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.
64 bit Win 10 Pro, the latest BiaB/RB, Roland Octa-Capture audio interface, a ton of software/hardware

I will certainly pray for your health. I understand the "wild child stuff." Bless you, Tommy!

Tommy, What a great story about Lisa. There really are some good people still out there. Sorry to hear about you physical problems. It's tough getting older. You still rock!! Love the tune by the way. Thanks. SD

Thanks SD, update on Granddaughter's laptop. Lisa sent $25 but my Church gave me a check for $500 and I bought her a new duo-core Toshiba on Fathers Day and some accessories left me with $7! She really freaked out cause she thought no one could ever be that nice to a stranger. My pastor gave me an envelope while I was setting up to record the service and had no time to look at it till right before it started. It was the most amazing thing when I went to thank him, he said no need just keep on doing what I always did would be thanks enough. Wednesday someone else sent $25 more and I asked them if they wanted it back cause she had already got the new laptop. They said no, just give to my Granddaughter cuz what 14 year old girl couldn't use a little extra money. Best Fathers Day and week ever! I should have waited to name this song to include my church and the other lady who helped out! PTL!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
