Winters Chill Soundclick

Winters Chill

Oh when the wind stirs a chill in my soul.
And a man has no place to call home.

When the leaves come raining down.
I shall lay my head on the ground.

I beg you please dont you torcher me.
Ive seen enough that a man can see.

I gave you all the things I had.
And now my heart you had to have.

..................................................................
You left me almost frozen in the middle of the night.
Sleet was coming down and the mist near hid your sight.

My frozen hands reached out for but you were already gone.
Left to face the bitter chill and see the winter dawn.
........................................................................

Temptaions there to flee or fight.
When the winter storms rage on all night.

Ive lost all ..... good things I have.
And its sure enough to drive you mad.

So a man must stand ..... against the winter chill.
Be bold and stong fortify your will.

And when the snow lays all around.
Then its time to stand your ground

Rob, maybe you wrote this because you really want to live up here in Western New York State! We are the snow capitol of the USA!

Great song, excellent backing track and outstanding vocals. This is something that Burl Ives might have sung, at least to my ears.

Two thumbs up!

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

I really like this. Super good vocals, especially nice touches when you emphasize certain words (like in the phrase "in the middddd--lll--ee-- of the night..". Reminds me of a little bit of an Elvis type of voice kicking in there...

Nice bouncy tune with plenty of great fills to keep things bouncing along...

Super job, Rob!

Great performance Elvis I mean Rob4580, lol. suggestion 4 you to try, fade in the beginning of music as you fade out the wind. Would create the illusion that the song came out of the winter wind, Great as it is though. Thanks for sharing!

Well ... at least it is winter in Australia even if it's not chilly where you are!

This is an interesting track. It does have a good traditional country vibe to it. I could imagine Johnny Cash covering this (if he was still with us).

Very nice! I really liked the bridge..definitely a "break away" from the chorus idea. And, as I'm sitting here in my stuff NC air, gave me a nice mental dose of "the chills".

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
