I edited/created a Melodist for this style. Style is _WSWING5.STY (WesternSwing Piano Solo [165RS]) I used John's piano as melody adding Fiddle for Soloist. Think this would be good dance music. Did a lot of EDIT>AUDIO EFFECTS>Gain Changes, 3 different fade-ins, and 2 gains just on intro. Then the abrupt changes between melody and soloist, cut small piece on the piano leading into soloist, and quick fade-in for fiddle, also did quick fadeout for fiddle. Ending had silence clipped, but regular instrument endings. Also dropped drums/bass down to minimum level during solo. I know telling a whole story in one sentence..... I welcome comments for this song! ****** Song Summary ************* Title: GoodTimes File:GoodTimes.MGU Key=C , Tempo 155, Length (m:s)=2:40 4 bar intro, 32 bar chorus, from bar 5 to bar 36. Repeat x3 choruses No Melody ------ Used Johns Piano in the style, "Annointed it" You Shall be melody!
Soloist 1871:Fiddle, Soloist WesternSwingAndy Sw 165
Song is saved with Volume, Pan, Reverb, Chorus, Bank0, Song is saved with bar changes for Volume Changes, Style is _WSWING5.STY (WesternSwing Piano Solo [165RS])

Also in BIAB I added PG 10 band EQ to the fiddle track, doing hi end cut! *******************
RealBand setups. Used in this order
PG Dynamics gain of 3 otherwise default setting. Sonitus: fx Muliband using Normal Master Medium preset Mstereo expander with full presets K-meter Used RB for multiple fade-ins for intro. Audacity clipped off tails at end. Also exported in stereo versus Joint stereo. .....................http://www.mp3cloud.mobi/GoodTimes.mp3Enjoy!

Frank, This sounded terrific. I love the use of the various instruments and swing/jazz touches that are going on here. I must get into the jazzy side of things at some point... Great Stuff, Man!

Mike,
Thank you very much....But this is not actually Jazz, albeit sounds like it to me also its the style design.. Style is _WSWING5.STY (WesternSwing Piano Solo [165RS]) I did add the soloist and some other simple changes, but its how the style sounds. Felt the same way, Jazzy. But with the beat folks could dance up a storm.

Western Swing is Redneck Jazz, sounds great Frank! I use to record a Western Swing band for a weekly radio show, and they sounded almost like this! Love It!

Bob, Thanks for your generous comments. Was surprised when auditioning the style. Then created the Melodist to help create songs. Like its danceable aspect myself.
Tommy,
The song surely does have its jazz aspects as I mentioned to Bob. Thank you, appreciate it coming from and "Ole" pro like you. Notice I DID NOT say "Old".
Compliments to PG and their staff for their great style creation.

Sweet! I used to listen to and play a little western swing but haven't explored the BIAB possibilities. Every thing works well to my liking.

Nifty piece! I liked your selections for the soloists...very comfortable, makes-you-mile kind of music.
One comment, I'd spiff up the ending a bit..I wanted more!!

Mootsman, Tano,
Sweet and Nifty, sound like title for a new song.
Style like the "Old" days.
Andy's Fiddle RT seemed to fit, so used it.
Thanks for compliments from both of you!

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.
